GameFan Magazine #6s marvelous, Nintendo 3DS-themed cover by Rob Duenas (click for larger image).

I cant pick which of these three details I love the most all the miniature characters popping off the AR cards, Cammys purse made out of Quote from Cave Story, or the Street Fighter charms hanging off the bags strap.

For those interested and Im sure many of you will be Rob, who is the art director for GameFan, will be making prints for this artwork in the future.

Only the top games get a cover on Game Informer — the biggest game magazine in the world — and one of those games is none other than Infamous 2. Developer Sucker Punch has created a whole new city for Infamous 2 and its hero, and as usual at this time of the year, expect more details at E3.

Diverse vs 8bit 3 album cover (click for a larger image). Released by Diverse System in Japan two weeks ago, this doujin compilation music album offers 12 arrangements of songs from classic NES/Famicom titles.

The games are all represented in this rad art: Castlevania, Murder on the Mississippi, Milons Secret Castle, Wagan Land, Metal Max, Raf World (Journey to Silius), Paperboy, Downtown Nekketsu March: Lets Go to the Great Athletic Meet, The Goonies, and Xevious.

My favorite arrangement is Goonies (Back When We Were Good Enough) by Sweez and Oishi Yu, which is based on the already charming 8-bit rendition of Cyndi Laupers film soundtrack single The Goonies R Good Enough.
