Yes, I know that E3 is big, and this video is not really enough to get it. After the jump, allow me to explain what it is like to wander around.

Sony Online Entertainment is demonstrating DC Universe Online, complete with Catwoman. Across the booth is the Capcom booth where they are demonstrating Marvel vs. Capcom. Is this E3 or Comic-con?

Speaking of Capcom, they seem to have a Zombie in a cage. It is an ad for Dead Rising 2.

Next to Capcoms booth is Forbidden World, which has two games Battle of the Immortals and Forsaken World. There are two booth babes dressed in non-authentic fantasy gear.

By the way, there are a lot of Booth Babes swarming about the booths. Don’t ask them about the games, because they’ll just tell you that they are “great” and they might know where to steer you. The most usual booth babes were at Nyko, with short fire red hair and look like the lady in The 5th Element.

Near this is Crave Entertainment, and they intend to have the guy from Man vs. Wild: Bear-something-or-other.

Near all these are the huge booths, like Sony and Nintendo. Sony has a not-so-huge line to the Move. It takes about ten minutes, and I’ve already reported on that one.

As for Nintendo’s booth, the line to see the 3DS is insane. I’m told the waiting period is about an hour.

Bethesda Softworks had a sandbagged area that seemed devoted to Fallout: New Vegas. I couldn’t get in there without an appointment. I can’t stand these “we close off our booth so you won’t see what is inside” display.

For example, Ignition Entertainment’s booth would not let me see El Shaddai, even though there are lots of posters of the game outside the hall.

Square Enix had a huge screen that was so loud, I couldn’t hear the people at their booth. I’ve already talked about Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days and the Lara Croft game.

Slang had the homage to the Luchadors with their game.

As for Microsoft, they had a lot of Kinect going on. The line there was big, so I didn’t wait.

The G4 booth was surrounded. I’m guessing someone famous was there, but I couldn’t see who. There was a lot of other things to see.

The THQ booth had so many cool things with WarHammer 40,000 and their other games. It is something to see.

Warner Brothers had some life-sized Harry Potter characters in Lego.

As you come into the South Hall, two big booths are prominent: Disney and EA. Their displays are huge, and block the main entrance.

Of course, the stuff on the show floor is really just for show. What is really happening is located in boring meeting rooms where video game companies make deals with buyers.

By the way, I got out just as the Lakers game was beginning at the Staples Center across the street from the Conference Center. Even though the Lakers won, there was still riots.

I’m glad I got out of the city just in time.
